    A trip to York mid July sounds like something I can get onboard with. I've been to the old ground but not the new one. I know the Bulls have been there a few times.

    Exactly. I'm not bothered about who we play it's how we play that matters.
    Given the turnover of players (again) it's crucial we use the games to get the new boys fitted into the squad and playing how Sparky wants them to play.

    If it is to be a Premier League side then looking at their confirmed fixtures so far it leaves these as possible (unless they are on a pre-season training camp that's not listed on https://www.premierleague.com/news/2554997 : Brentford, Bournemouth, Chelsea, Crystal Palace, Everton, Leeds, Leicester, Man City, Newcastle, Forest, Southampton, Wolves.

    Most realistic ones on that list for me are Newcastle and Forest with their location and as things stand they aren't going far for pre-season.

    Sounds intriguing.... looks like they're bigging it up. Could be linked to a transfer sweetener, or possibly another friendly with Liverpool as a charitable thing for the Darby Rimmer foundation?
