    If it is Alicante, it's likely to be la finca in Algorfa (lafincaresort.com). If it is, this is a world away from from previous tours in terms of training facilities. It's been used by a lot of elite clubs for champions league preparation and PSG are there for pre-season this year. If City are there a match against the local non-league side Atletico Algorfa is a possibility.

    Not a rumour, just speculation on my part but a preseason friendly against PSG would be welcome ! (PSG are due to play Algorfa so not as far-fetched as it sounds)

    Some people are seriously considering spending the best part of a grand to watch City play a pointless friendly probably against some 7th tier Spanish side who’s players will probably serve you your Amstel the night before.

    Why would you have a problem with someone spending their own money on a few days away in Spain, playing against a 7th tier Spanish side is irrelavent, I heard were playing Mark Robins Coventry City whilst out there.

    A cup game against Mark Robins Coventry wouldn’t even scrape 5k at home

    I don't get why if people want to spend their money to go to Spain and watch a friendly it's a concern of anyone else, that my point.

    Its the novelty isn’t it. You could pay £500 for a hospitality package to watch a mundane league game. Poor value but sometimes you treat yourself.

    Fair play to those who have the money and time. Id be off in a flash for a piss up if I could, but I can’t.
