If the Barrow match is rearranged for Tuesday 23 April, I would expect the EFL would ask both clubs to keep Wednesday 24 April available as a back up, just in case.

£65 for that shambolic ceremony. Give over. I'd want a lap dancer at every table for that.

I was thinking to suggest that we all vote for someone who’s barley played like Taylor but I think that would be harsh on our best player Halliday if anyone other than him won it.

Maybe so. But it's nothing sort than the club and players deserve. Holliday isn't all that. Like the rest of them.

You are right. £65 is ridiculous. As a pensioner it is well out of my price range anyway.

Yes, but they probably got better fare than tinned peaches and a dollop of ice cream. This is at cedar Court, hardly little chef quality, let alone Michelin Starred.

Because as with most things Bradford City this season, zero commonsense has been applied by the lunatics running the asylum!

I agree Binky, let's give full credit where it's due to players and staff up and down and across the club and celebrate their achievements. It's mean -spirited to deny a moment in the spotlight for the junior teams, the women's set-up, disability players et al. And in terms of our first team, anyone who doesn't think Brad Halliday doesn't deserve a night to celebrate being player of the year or Bobby Pointon Young Player of the Year is being very mean-spirited indeed.

Sorry the desserts talking about was a taster menu for an f1 event I worked on and it was a fair bit more than £65 per head

Fair comment Rog, but if it being £65 at Cedar Court v £50 at VP cuts the numbers it's a false economy. Plus at VP we would get a share of the drinks take. We would get much more milk by having the cowgirls running round the McCall/ Hendrie SUite.

I see this levelled at Gillead a lot but what exactly is a productive midfielder at this level in his position? He’s part of a 2 man midfield so he isn’t playing an advanced role and has to make sure he is doing his share of the defensive work so what are we wanting from a player in this role? What are other productive midfielders in this league delivering?

You can’t have two non productive midfielders i.e. scoring goals or getting assists. Unfortunately for Gilliead he isn’t better than Smallwood as a defensive midfielder and he doesn’t outshine him in the attacking sense. That midfield 2 never dominate play, so we need better in my opinion. If we aren’t winning the midfield battles then neither of them are doing the defensive work well enough.
