I don't think it matters whether he's there or not. there's no way he wouldn't be aware if a protest occured, he's probably watching the game on ifollow!

Mike Ashley never turns up to Newcastle fixtures it doesn't stop the Newcastle fans, and nor should it.

Support the team? Even at rock bottom we nearly turn out five figures in league two, on a a tues night. The fans do turn up, they can't however blindly support a team that is so easy to beat and are getting nothing back from the team. The anger is in its vast majority, aimed at our owners dismantling of our club and taking it on an absolute shocking and embarrassing run to the foot of league one. I'd follow any demo if i was at the game, hopefully you can get it organised and show a united front against our regime first and foremost.

Meet North Parade to leave for the ground at 2pm, organised demonstration outside main entrance at VP for 230pm. Organised chants inside ground on 6th minute (position in Jan.) when Edin sacked McCall & it went tits up. Doesn’t need a group name, or merch etc. We already are a group, we are City fans. Whilst a good idea in principle, for this game it will be a NO NO from the Police I believe. For security reasons.

Given the level of away support that Pompey will bring (I would anticipate between 1k - 1.5k (conservative estimate maybe as well!! Took to 2k to Coventry) so they will not want to divert attention from them in the Bradford Arms and other places around the ground to also police a march of Bantams down either Midland Road (past the away end) or Manningham Lane (past the Bradford Arms).

By all means give it a try but I can't see it being approved with due to a potential large away following. A different game perhaps...

 

That's a very good point, city's plieght would be having an adverse affect on local businesses. Something needs to be done.
