I am starting to doubt if we will stay up now. I’ve remained positive that we will get out of this mess but we don’t seem to have improved much under Hopkin. We don’t seem to be able to tighten up at the back and that is a huge worry. We won’t score 3 in many games this season and we seem to be conceding 2+ each game.

Our defence is utter sh&te. We need to beat Walsall and I hope you're right but Walsall will be licking their lips playing us because we're too open, lack leaders and in game management.

Caddis, karl Henry and jim O'Brien were brought in to help but it it taking a while to get them up to speed, game-in, game out.
The oxford game showed the difference of having Caddis/Henry.But MUST do it on a regular basis.

Shows you that out of contract players are not a simple solution to a teams problems.

 

To be fair, I don't think it is knee-jerk. Our defence is, as Fordy puts it sh&te and I think conceding the third most goals in the league is enough proof of this.

I also think we lack leaders. O'Connor is captain and I don't think he's a leader, don't mind him as a player but not vocal enough to be skipper imo. I can only think of O'Donnell and Henry who are leaders in that squad. 2 out of how ever many is pathetic, especially as one wasn't even here a few weeks ago.

And I also think we lack in game management, losing the lead 3 times yesterday should be enough proof of this.

No, not yet but he needs to prove he is up to standards because he is failing.

His tactically knowledge and in game management is shocking.

 

Bear in mind Hopkin has just been promoted, from head coach to manager.

Dont think it was based on football results.

 

He can't coach. No player has improved under him.

Making him manager makes sense.

I want to see back to back wins. No excuses in our next 2 league games. None!

Well I think as things stand he's got as strong a squad as he could have at his disposal, and as you say were shipping goals for fun.
I have to say I was a little disappointed when he took Doyle off and brought O'Brien on, although Doyle was hardly pulling up trees Plymouth knew we could score against them, I thought it was a little negative and suggested to me he was trying to shut shop which we know is not great with our defence.
