I found it amusing that the day after Boris resigned the same lie kept coming.

James Cleverly did the morning rounds and was asked about the wedding party at Chequers and said there was no reason for it not to happen, by 11am on the same day No10 said the wedding party will no longer be staged at Chequers.

These idiots haven't learnt a thing, going out on the airwaves to push the same bullshit and then be contradicted before they leave the studio.

As for Starmer and beergate, Boris recieved one fine for an event within the first lockdown, but no further fines and a decision to not investigate the ABBA flat party. Compared to Starmer who was investigated for an event when only indoor mixing wasn't allowed outside of work, and many think it is a stitch up. Alot of these people supported Durham police when they ignored Dom Cummings.

I hate this tribal rubbish, it's clear to me that potential minor rule breaches may have been made but many are wanting fines for the equivalent of going 71mph on a motorway when all we have here is a colossal waste of police tike and resources.

 

Truss and Hunt should have an easy ride to get to the last two candidates in the leadership election.

I like Nandy she was one of the few Labour MPs with credibility that backed the referendum vote when the vast majority of Labour MP played followed my leader which ultimately cost them the 2019 General Election.

The way she called out all tories as been scum for starters. Not exactly the sort of language to expect from a prominent politician

She comes across as a right chav who should be nowhere near front line politics.

As you would have probably detected by now, I'm not a Labour man, never have been, but surely the party can do better than Starmer and Raynor?

That's the main issue for me, I will vote either way but the LP seem to be more interested in pulling apart the Tories than selling how their policies will benefit people. I feel if they focused on that they wouldn't actually do too badly in the next GE.

I'm neither mate, but I'll be honest my respect for Rayner went up after what she said about the Tories. Fact that most Tories were more disgusted about what she said as opposed to how Johnson was running the country tells you they have morals of a sewer rat. As Nottsy said Andy Burnham would be a good shout.
