    Check your card/bank statements for that date. If you bought anything from B&M's or Sports Direct you will be OK as that gets you 2 hrs free parking.

    If you overstayed and didn't pay then that's another story.

    Really surprised they have waited so long to chase you up. I would ask for evidence-such as images of the vehicle on entering and leaving the park.
