    That's the one. Was just wondering if anybody has ever successfully defended one. They're chasing me for a ticket from over 3 years ago. Can't remember what I was doing last week never mind that long ago.

    Check your card/bank statements for that date. If you bought anything from B&M's or Sports Direct you will be OK as that gets you 2 hrs free parking.

    If you overstayed and didn't pay then that's another story.

    Really surprised they have waited so long to chase you up. I would ask for evidence-such as images of the vehicle on entering and leaving the park.

    Been doing quite a bit of reading on consumer sites. They're out of time with everything. Decided to let them take me to court, if they dare. Thanks for all useful comments.
