The person quoting that also suggested we'd have points deducted for breaching FFP which is just nonsense. Clubs who fail FFP are subject 'only' to a transfer embargo and not a points deduction That makes me very sceptical about the rest of his suggestion. I suggest you take the suggestion with a large dollop of salt! And from a more positive viewpoint, we've also had other income this season from sell-ons which would help avoid exceeding the FFP limit. That seems to have been ignored or forgotten by many.

I remember reading that as well -- in the comments section of WOAP's summary of the season, and the comment was given short shrift by WOAP. Moreover the poster is said to be someone whose comments under another name had led to that poster being banned from the site. Better make that pinch of salt a double!
