Songo'o showing exactly why he won't be first choice with a panicked clearance effort that hit our own player than a wild hack at the ball totally unaware that a forward was there. It was exactly how we defended last season and how we haven't this season.

 

Oliver ffs just hold it up. Size of him brushed of it far too easily

Not for me. Clumsiness by Songo'o in the box, which we've seen he's prone to do when played in that position.

 

Oliver has got to do better for me regarding holding the ball up. He’s been disappointing for me so far.

 

Entertaining game due to both teams having no real shape, not surprising with the amount of changes to both sides. Acres of space for both sides

 

Young has talent, and something about him. Scored a very good goal, but really needs to work on his final ball as he gets in behind his full back regularly.

 

He got the ball first and if you watch the travel of the ball it's clear he must have got there first

 

That free header that he pushed wide was a bit disappointing. I thought he would have got it on target at least.

 

Songo'o hardly moves. Player makes a bit of a meal of it. Anyway, ref gave it.

 

I'm not sure in all the years I've ever had a season where the goalie was my favourite player but Lewis is making a good case this season. He's still learning his trade, clearly, but he looks like he'll be a cracking keeper.

In other words, he was a bit clumsy as you said Faithful.

I would love the ref to describe the difference between their penalty and the trip on Sutton in their box? They were almost identical.
Notice how the ref seems to be trying his best not to be a homer. Once again totally inconsistent decision making.

Worrying that we’ve fielded such a strong team yet we are struggling against a league 1 reserve team.

 

Of course, read my posts THEN comment. Smallwood is as bad . Sutton is running around like a headless chicken and his passing replicates a chicken without a head. Stop defending the indefensible. He’s poor. end of!

 

Smallwood needs to up his game but to be fair compared with Oliver he looks like Messi
