At the start I struggled to work out what shape the midfield was but the longer it went on I think it seemed to look like a 4141 but switched to 4231 with East as the more advanced players in the middle of the pitch.

Only going by Wiki, that was why I believe one fit he will be our regular RB Halliday is weak at the back post IMO.

Halliday is unlucky O’Donnell is not longer with us, any cross we conceded used to be his fault now we have to blame the defenders now we have a good keeper;)

O’Donnell was blamed for many so I’m sure he would have, crossing to the back post goals are fairly common. England international Kyle Walker is often criticised for not defending the back post well, it’s not easy to keep your eye on the ball and man at the same time. Best way to prevent it is to prevent the cross in the first place.

I can tell you're being swayed now Kev. Go on admit it..... the Ginger Cafu hasn't quite lived up to expectation yet

He’s a step up from Hendrie, he’s just not 6ft 4 like some of the oppo full backs.

Absolutely spot on. Don’t give away free kicks on our right flank in our last third. Barrow, Colchester spring to mind and in open play V Hartlepool. Every single one could have been avoided and we would be 2-4 points better off!

Agreed it’s best to have the mentality of we win and lose as a team, rather than single individuals out in my eyes. Those goals could have been avoided through a number of people, we need to be smarter that’s the lesson to take away.

If you believe Sutton ran midfield last night you are sadly deluded. That was my answer to that specific comment . If one doesn’t like an “ antagonistic” response …just walk on by. I won’t.. because it was a silly misinformed comment as far from reality as being laughable.

Me too. Certainly think Hendrie is a better crosser on a consistent basis. Don't know about the defensive side, been away and only seen 2 home games so haven't seen a team attack us.

Halliday is a better 1 on 1 defender but is more vulnerable than Hendrie in the air. Hendrie is good going forward but crosses hit and miss. Halliday tries to overlap going forward and has still managed to put in the odd good cross as in the Hull game.

There is very little to choose between them.
