How about Forest Green away. I’m looking forward to eating cabbage pie at half time

I'd rather have an away fixture to start and
give the new players a game together before
facing the "hoards" at VP!BoingBoing likes this. -
The last thing we want is another poor start to the season, so I'm tempted to say Macclesfield or Cambridge at home to give us the best chance of picking up three points in our first game. Saying that it could have opposite the intended effect, imagine if we lost our first home game against a side expected to do poorly.

What I wouldn't disagree with though is either Salford or Orient away. -
Prefer a Home start and get the first win of the 32 on the board ? Definitely dont want Smallford away thats likely to go Ts up ? . But failing a Home, Cheltenham Away and a steady draw will be to plan.

It’s not going to be a great season in terms of numbers travelling to away games. With only a handful of ‘local’ Games, our fans are going to have to rack up the mikes. No Yorkshire derby games and the likes of Salford, Oldham, Scunny, Grimsby & Mansfield are the closest.
Not like the 45mins drive over to Rochdale or Bury or down the M1 to a Sheffield/Rotherham based clubStop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
