The bloke is a complete tosser. He was on the other day saying how bad for English football it would be should Leeds and Norwich go up as they have foreign managers and are taking opportunities away from English coaches like Tony Pulis (even though he's welsh).

Even though the Norwich manager has a philsophy of playing youth players, and to be fair Leeds do too, and those players are improving. Pulis is an old school dog and does no benefit to English football.

I loved Jeff Stelling reporting on Middlesborough beating Man City .......... Only for City to beat Chelsea ..... Pure fantasy and magic .............. True history written, yet again (The biggest ever FA Cup shock).

Yep, Wilshere was the only one who really showed up and played with desire. Credit to him.

An unbelievable night. Extremely cold, but the tremdous win warmed me up. First time I was in the upper Kop, or should I say the new Kop! We were with all the singing and drums. Just Brilliant.

An amazing night of football. To win after extra time was a phenomenonal performance.

A poignant game for me as well. My Dad nearly died six months before but he was determined to go to the match even though he wasn't well. Sadly he hasn't been able to go to another game since, but a wonderful game to finish on.

It was a fantastic night without doubt, as was the Villa home tie, but it has to be Villa away that takes number one spot, conceded early and hung on till half time, then Parky pulled his master stroke telling the players to push on as they we getting too much ball the way we played first half.
We had more of the ball and although Hanson put 4-2 up we always knew with 35,000 + Villa fans cheering them on things could change, IMO knowing that and knowing we were so near a Wembley Final, and what that meant, kept us on the edge of our seats right up untill the final whistle.......what a night, hotel was booked on the way home on the coach, and how ironic the family who ran the hotel were called McHugh and from the same area as Carl.......great memories.

I went home with a gaping hole in my jeans backside after falling over 4 rows of seats celebrating our goal. Tremendous. Thought I'd never ever get the chance to sing were going to wembley. I can remember the nervous shushing those who sang it too early in case it was pre emptive. it was a combination of pure shock and elation that night. Villa fans were good on the train home

As soon I started reading your post, I remembered that night as well.

I remembered standing in the bogs with the teams been read out. I turned to this guy next to me and said 'fecking hell, we have no chance'

    Hello old friend

No ones mentioned Wigan away, what a night. Arsenal I drove from Udders, abandoned my car up near Lumb lane, pre match drink in Barrack tavern then to the match, wow not sure which left me more elated, villa away or Arsenal at home. As others have said, when the Arsenal team was announced i thought we would get blown away.
Had a few beers after, abandoned the car and got a taxi back to Udders, me and my mate then spent the evening singing city songs in the head of steam with several other Huddersfield based city fans......great night, beaten only by Villa away, don’t tell the missus but better than birth of kids better than wedding just best night ever!!!
