He'll find it's difficult to drop someone who was a team mate on Tuesday, knowing that it may sour their relationship when he reverts to that role, when the new man is appointed.

Apparently he came out and sat in the dugout at Tranmere after the game, according to Jamie Raynor. Wonder if he had been told then or got an inkling?

I doubt he will give a damn about that. If he does then he's not cut out for coaching or being a manager. The job is always to do the best for the team and to make difficult decisons

If Tulloch, Oyegoke and Afoka are no where near the squad on Saturday give kev a 5 year deal.

Being a manager, and distanced from the players, is a far different cup of tea from a player being asked to take on the caretaker role and dropping players he'll have to mix with closely on a daily basis, when a permanent appointment is made. Didn't Stuart briefly carry out a caretaker role, whilst playing, and highlighted that very problem?

Wetherall definately highlighted that issue of being player/caretaker. Sure he said he shouldve played himself more but didn't.

Tulloch was easily our best player against Newport and was ok against Walsall - he won us the penalty and looked our next most creative option other than Walker. Are you writing him off after one quiet sub appearance against Tranmere?

I agree, I found the post strange but haven't been paying that much attention lately so presumed I'd missed a couple of poor appearances.

In fairness, he wasn't "quiet" against Tranmere, he was absolutely awful.

But he still played pretty well in the games before, so there must be something there.

Sounds like a truly mixed bag then. Similar to many experienced wingers, never mind younger lads just making their way.

Not certain what Tulloch's done wrong. Other than play superb at Newport, which was just two league games ago and win us a penalty, just last week, with the type of pacey run through the centre that we've been missing.

Thank goodness, I thought I was going mad as I think Tulloch has done well under the circumstances. 'Mad' of course is a relative terms - we have to be mad to follow our team.
