I honestly can not see the bulls regaining their former glories. I hope i am wrong, but like us they have had year on year of regression and bad management. Its a shame, both sporting clubs doing well can only be good for the city.

For the life in me I can't see Gordon Gibb shitting himself, I believe we pay the rent until the agreed lease is finished 2027 ?, by that time the pension fund has had a very lucrative deal and the ball is back in our court, we leave which I can't honestly see, we go back and renegotiate a better deal taking the condition of the stadium into account ETC which we as the tenants I believe have the responsibility of up keep of the stadium and hope Gordon Gibb agrees but not sure how that would work if the trustees of the fund have to bring in a similar rent to what we've paid previously.

Looks like to pass RFL rules they'll need to use some form of turf. Could be that hybrid turf blend stuff they use at Tottenham rather than proper grass? Looking at NFL grounds with permanent roofs, they too use the hybrid turf that they installed at Spurs.

    Nowhere near!
Below is a table showing the most recent years. The annual attendance is in descending order. So 2003 (coming up twenty years ago) was the highest with 15,284. The years not shown will have been lower, than those in the table! Dropping below 10,000, which they have not topped since 2012. In 2022 it had shrunk to 3,888 https://www.loverugbyleague.com/post/in-numbers-championship-teams-ranked-by-average-attendance-this-season-so-far/
    The ship is sinking!

I’ve been there amongst 20k crowds, but that would’ve been at the peak - not so much recent times.
As per the vote - I’d not be averse to moving but it would need to be city centre for me.
Broadway should’ve been built in the middle / top of the town and where Broadway is could’ve been the perfect site for a shared stadium

What about the plot about to become a new hole when Kirkgate, Ostler etc are demolished

Not keen on moving out, but you are right about the central location. The big hole in Bradford was a missed opportunity. A stadium with offices/restaurants/bars/conference facility/concert space/other sports facilities/gym etc, in the centre, would have been a far better option.

Well if something is cheaper it’s going to attract more.

    Below are Tranmere prices.

    Category

Current Season Card Holder Renewal Price

    Early Bird Price

    Adult

    £435

    £459

There’s no joined up long term thinking with the powers that be in Bradford unfortunately.
Even if by some miracle this supersduperdome came off, it’s out of the city centre and would bring nothing to the city whatsoever

Very rarely are big stadiums built in the centre of towns and cities. In fact I’m struggling to think of any.

That’s a big hill!! Might as well build it on Northcliffe Park or Idle Rec.

No we pitch the product at a lower price. It is what it is and attracts far more supporters. You could say the price makes it affordable, but the alternative makes teams like Tranmere look rather sad with only 5,864 (and a very decent turn out from City) when we played them. The capacity of Preston Park is 16,587, so a third full.

Are you really asking for grounds to look like Doncaster’s!

Newcastle and Wolves I’d thought were the only ones closest to the city centres I could think. Don’t know about Cardiff.

3A56714D-BA5D-47D3-AE1B-E1A9916F646A.jpeg The areas highlighted here would be ideal but would require co-operation from the council as far as compulsory purchases.

Kirkgate is but the old Morridogs site is prime. As the land slopes away you could use that for the hotels etc….
All pie in the sky. But far less pie than this hair brained idea the council have got

They’d never build a ‘Wembley of the North’ in Bradford at the end of a dead end motorway.
A more feasible location for such a Stadium would be where many motorways converge around the M1,M62,M621.
