Ok folks, going to give you a few neutral comments on todays game, so feel free to tell me to "go forth and multiply", I wont take offence, I know you will all be feeling like shit this evening (believe me being a Carlisle fan, I know that feeling very well indeed).
Missed the first 20/25 minutes so I can't really comment about that time, however the rest of the half was the stuff of nightmares, it actually reminded me of a training game attack v defense, with the city players disguised as mannequins (they were so rooted to the spot). To be honest the two centre backs seemed to be really poor, especially Stubbs, I'm sure I can run quicker and I'm the wrong side of 60.
Second half was much better, Halliday was causing all sorts of problems down the right, Gilliead I thought was industrious and always was looking for that opportunity to open Notts up, but City man of the match for me was Walker, with 3/4 decent passes and a determination to make things happen, and whey hey you won the second half 2-0.
However I still can't see City's fans obsession with Cook, he seems, and looks like exactly what he is, a 4th tier plodder!!! Maybe he just has bad games every time I see him play.
Anyway, I'm going to stick my neck out and say I think you'll be OK and you wont get dragged into a relegation fight, however any more performances like the last 15 minutes of the first half then I'll reserve the right to change my mind.

People like Width Of the Post, Simon Parker and others really for the good of the club need to start calling it as it is and that’s is Rupp & Sparks need to GO! Get them out of our club FFS!

Cook needs dropping.

His body language is all wrong and it's sheer selfishness that arguably prevented us from scoring a third goal.

He's constantly quick to berate everyone else. That's fine, but he's missed at least eight relatively easy chances in the matches against Stockport, Swindon, Wrexham and now Notts County.

 

Gonna be honest and say I’d take a 4-4 draw right now

 

We've been excellent second half, so well done GA for his HT intervention, and well done to the players for their response.

But the defence is a huge problem, and Ash Taylor especially should never wear our shirt again. Horrendous player.

 

As gutless as the first half was our second half performance has been equal to County's unfortunately we haven't been as clinical as they were.
Fair play to Alexander his subs and change of formation has been far better, Halliday has to be MOTM for us.

 

Taylor is the easy target but Stubbs has arguably been just as bad if not worse at times this season.

 

Err, it hasn't even kicked off yet m9.

 

Three people at the club to blame for this mess, Rupp, Sparks and Gent. We've never been so fecking useless from top to bottom and it's these 3 @?#& leading the charge. I wish we were mediocre, because this is something far worse

 

I often wonder if any of our fans actually even go to/watch the games at all.

All the loan players should be sent back as soon as possible. They have contributed next to nothing and don't seem capable of doing so.

A bit different to the trio of Crichlow, Wright and Banks last season
