    I think Apple May decide to sponsor our stadium. They need to invest in our stadium to gain global recognition, and support local football clubs. They have seen us playing Chelsea 4 years ago and are full of praise for our display.

    Does anyone have a rough idea of how much the stadium sponsorship deal is worth?

    Can we crowdfund it and keep the name as Valley Parade?

    I was actually genuinely Astonished to see their products for sale here in Estonia. Obviously doing alright for themselves (cleaning up!).

    Just had a quick dig back. Coral signed a deal in 2007 for 3 years and Northern Commercial signed in 2016 for 3 years. I can not find any details of any deals between.

    Maybe finding a sponsor is going to be harder than some people think if we struggled for the year 2015-2016

    Edit - Coral extended for an extra 2 years in 2010

    Edit 2 - and an extra 3 years till 2015

    I don't know anything about the level of ground sponsorship but as an indicator, 6 years ago the sponsorship of the East Stand (MR) alone was £50k per season and ML was hoping to raise it to £100k per season. He wasn't successful as it happens!

    It was the Bradford and bingley stadium before coral windows wasn’t it too?

    We’ve never struggled for one. Don’t think we need to crowd fund it for God’s sake

    I think the crowd funding angle, was just so that it can be kept as Valley Parade (as decided by the sponsors) and not some horrible branded company name....

    Inter sonic(went bust) Bradford and Bingley (went bust) Pulse first.

    And no sponsor for the year 2015-16. So we have struggled for at least a year, but on the flip side had three in one year, B&B, Intersonic and Coral

    Apart from the media I don't think anyone attached to our club calls it the "Northern Commercial Stadium' or "Bradford & Bingley" etc.
    It will always be Valley Parade to me.
