    We should have a word with the cleaning product guys on the Euroway Trading Estate about becoming the new sponsors. Imagine going to the Astonish Stadium next season.

    Apart from the media I don't think anyone attached to our club calls it the "Northern Commercial Stadium' or "Bradford & Bingley" etc.
    It will always be Valley Parade to me.

    The sponsor @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler suggested that edins dealings, had lost in a 7 figure sum?


    Your comments on poor sponsorship deals is misplaced. You can only deal with those who are in the market and if they are thin on the ground you have to get the best deal you can. Bradford is hardly the commercial centre of the universe with Global and National business queuing up to give us money. However when there was a good deal Edin managed to screw it by interfering. The classic is the loss of a seven figure deal plus indirect investment in the form of fit out works by the operator which was lost because Edin thought he "knows marketing" and wanted an extra £30k!! The firm concerned told him where to go and I doubt they will be back. Other long term sponsors were treated in the same manner and we face an uphill struggle to get them back when deals run out this summer, so if you're not happy now...

    Nothing to do with Edin it is all the managers and supporters fault.
    The pound land stadium has a ring to it (the Edin effect strikes again)

    As a benchmark, Posh have just let their stadium naming rights to a local house developer for £2mill for a 10 year sponsorship. Or if you like £200k per annum. It's not chicken feed!

    Roger was not referring to this sponsor. The £1m+ deal was for a new sponsor and it was not a stadium deal.

    Yep, only time I hear it, is when they HAVE to refer to it as the Coral Windows , or whatever it called, Northern Commerical Stadium, on the radio. Same way they seem to HAVE to describe Andy Kiwomya as "former Bradford City winger Andy Kiwomya" and Gary Jones as "Former Bradford City midfielder and legend Gary Jones" each time they mention who is co commentator.
