How can you not think there is better than this? 20th league two and no sign of an improvement. It doesn’t need a Klopp and pep management dream team ffs. I wish people would stop saying that. It just needs a competent manager who has a plan and tactics and isn’t on his way out of the game. It’s not rocket science. It’s difficult not to agree with you, your right on all points, but........
The club is toxic and needs top to bottom change, bright young managers such as Parky back when he joined us won’t come within a mile of the place, no one with any ambition will join us, the hard to take truth is currently we would completely destroy most managers reputations, therefore we won’t get anyone decent, no matter what the package.
Do I think SM is an appalling excuse for a manager........yes
Do I see him as a long term option........no
Do I want him as manager next season.......no
But to get rid now, and replace with an unknown quantity with no real affinity to the club, my brain goes to the popular but ultimately disastrous sacking of Colin Todd
He might sign a right back because they used to play up front 10 years ago, he might sign another forward based on one performance against our defence then pretend he’d been watching him all summer....,....
But....if we need a result on the last day to stay up, with the passion he had for the club, I can’t think of anyone I’d rather give the team talk (yes him picking the team would worry me)
