Every club has injuries let's not use it as an excuse!
He can't even get his team playing for him, he's boring and his tactics are awful.
Yes, we're in 7th but going backwards.
I can fully understand people wanting him out because he's been a let down since he's been here in truth.

Bowyer can't have a free pass as you say promotion is a necessity not an option.Rogered Tart likes this. -
All of McCartan, Donaldson and Doyle wouldn't be in the squad if all fit.
The problem with our squad is its unbalanced because of Bowyer's poor recruitment and obsession with midfielders.
In terms of when I have followed City. I am a lot younger than you you mate for sure but when you grew up with the local business man being able to run a football club and it was just a game I wasn't born then. I was born in a time in which football is a businesss and the Rhodes of the world can't really afford to run a football club.
My beef at the moment is we currently do have an owner that can afford to take us to the next level but he's the wrong owner because it would seem he's unwilling to build an infrastructure here and move the club forward. Problem I see are teams like Luton are overtaking us on and off the pitch and that pees me off massively!
We make poor decisions as a club and safe decisions then wonder why we're in div 2.
Anything but Automatic promotion is failure! We need to start setting standards because they're at an all time low for a club and City like Bradford!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Bronco likes this. -

We play Morecambe at home on the 1st.
No excuses. We're not top 3 by the end of the year Bowyer has to go for me.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...bantamlad92 likes this. -

And yes you are spot on. We are the mighty Bradford City-we should be sweeping all teams aside like swatting flies. How dare these other teams actually try to beat us.
Don't they know WHO we are?
We have mahoosive crowds and the probably the biggest ground in the league.
Like you I am bemused why we aren't beating Macclesfield Town and the like week in week out.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Bronco likes this. -

Bowyer is a negative manager in terms of tactics.
A change of manager now would be a good thing for the club and players because it's like we are all bored of him already.
Bowyer has done nothing here to suggest he isn't worth losing.
Drury has to go also for sure!Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
It's not about the last 5 games.
He hasn't proved himself at Bradford City and is failing here! Let's not dress it up - he's failing!

Very tight if possible whilst playing percentages football. Quick to get it up top but once there very laboured with no creativity.
IMO changes in personnel won't change the performances, especially away from home.
I will admit there have been some good showings this season but all at home. -
The likes of Vaughan & Donaldson with their experience of playing at a much higher level for much of their careers shouldn't have a problem adapting to the formation Bowyer wants to play.
Having said that there is no excuse for the yesterday poor performance and Bowyer not changing it when it was pretty obvious to most watching the game we were pissing against the wind with 4-3-3 as posters have said Otech comes on to play off Vaughan and offer an outlet and we look something like a football team.
We have to be positive with our league position with regards how average at best we've been most games, Bowyer and the team will have to up their game when hopefully we have all our players back fighting for the shirt. -
Bowyer still here.
The performance from the team haven't been there for months.
I believe we won't be promoted this season. -
Been looking over the auto promotion slots over the past 5 years.
The most obvious statistic is you need at least 84 points to make third on 4 out of 5 occassions. MK Dons bucked the trend last year to finish third with 79 same as second placed Bury.
If we assume that we are capable of chugging along unconvincing as we are in the same form. We could finish P46 W23 D10 L13 = 79 to match last seasons low point for third.
So we really have to surpass our level to date to have any hope of going up automatically. It looks more likely we would be a play-off prospect at best.
Can GB galvanise this under performing group into going on an undefeated bone fide promotion run from now to February ? The evidence would suggest that unlikely?
And yet the rest of this league is pretty darned awful as well so just bungling on might be enough? Promoted despite ourselves not because of?
Saturday v Newport is a must win game yet again 5 league games without a win and 7 overall is relegation form not promotion ? Bowyer haa to come up with a plan to scupper one of our promotion rivals. If this game was to be lost that to me would represent a high water mark beyond which his chances of taking the club forward are sinking surely ?
Just to add I am not for changing just for the hell of it? I dont dislike Bowyer hes a decent guy and has some credentials at this level. But the message seems to be waning on this group and some new impetus maybe what is needed to see us over the line come May?Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand...
