I don't think I've ever met a decent Leeds fan. all dirty hooligan cheating bastards. the lot of 'em.

 

I was also there (living in Hull at the time). Can't remember fireworks, but I do remember multiple pitch invasions. I also remember it all kicking off outside after the match, and having to hide in a corner shop while there were folk throwing concrete bollards through car windscreens. I'm very glad I didn't wear my colours that day, otherwise it would have been an interesting (yet very fast) walk home!

 

Deffo a " Rocket " fired from our end across the pitch towards Hull fans.
Chaos after the game outside, a case of fighting for survival.
Wonder what our yoof and pitch invaders would have done that day, and at the likes of Brandon Utd, Carlisle, Portsmouth,Millwall.

I’ve met quite a few but they’ve moved down south

 

My old man is a Leeds fan. My first ever game was a Leeds one, and he took me to many more when I was a younger. And then one day, I realised I was born in Bradford, not Leeds (like him) and decided to start following City. He's never held it against me, has been with me to City matches, and always looks out for our results. I think it's because he has a fair amount of intelligence, something not all of their fans have.

 

Mmmm, not sure that is the case at all...one of the best firms around back in the day...every team knew about the Ointment...

 

Was carnage before the game too, got walled up by a boozer near ground (the Griffin) when about 200 Hull lads came rushing out, until cops came and dispersed everyone, then tried to shepherd us into the supermarket end with them all, that would have been fun!!

Fun after game too, near the guy who got part of his ear bitten off. Police dispersed everyone again and said we'll escort you to station. Five minutes later they all buggered off and said its that way... were about 50 of us, next roundabout there were about 6 exits with about 25/30 Hull lads at each junction!! Me and my pal ducked into B&Q and got taxi to station...funniest thing was taxi driver asking if we'd had a fun day...

 

Waited for their dad's to turn up....remember SUFC at home, think it was the 2 - 2 draw with Parky when we should have won, walking back down Manningham Lane and about 10 yoof spotted a few Blades and said come on let's do em, one voice of reason said no they're proper blokes we'll get f@@@d!! Nearly wet myself, an age thing I now think....

 

I was with my old man that day and on the way back I ended up jumping in some garden to get out of the way. Just the blokes kicking lumps out of each other, suddenly appeared as we were trying to get away from the ground. That game we travelled over from Ludlow as we were in the middle of a few days away with family. Well, we weren’t going to miss such a crucial game were we? No doubt i mithered him like fook about being away at the same time as such a massive game, mum probably never spoke to him for a week little did we know, we still had another three games to go, and blackpool away. It was all worth it and they are still together!

Lived in Leeds all my life. Supported City all my life. Grandad was a City fan from Otley. My best man a Leeds United life long fan. My 3 other best mates life long Leeds fans. Work with them. They are individually great lads. BUT get them at Bellend Road or together and suddenly they turn into dickheads and actually think cos they are Leeds they are hard. I know them all very well, they are not at all hard and in fact I have had to get them out of the shit a few times, especially when it actually kicks off they run a mile. I`m no hard man super hero, but I can handle myself and won't run (well most of the time) if dickheads are dickheads. But these guys in non football related incidents always ran. So I knew they were all gob and full of shite. And when they all started their Service crew talk to other Leeds fans I chipped in and told these other fans they were actually soft as shit. the look on their faces was a picture. Don't get me wrong I have seen Leeds in action at games and they have some real hard lads but only 25% and they are really hard, and carry the other 75% gobshites. And when the gobshites are from Bradford especially Greengates and I KNOW them and they are being all cocky with actual hard Leeds fans it makes me fecking laugh. So I guess yes I do hate Leeds !! And man for man Ointment every time !!!

 

My Gran lived in Greengates, and many a time I was in the Albion after a City match, and a load of lads came in, and started talking about the fooking LEEDS game. Go find your own pub round the corner in bloody Calverley or somewhere like that!

 

Jeez, just shows FIFA have Football Intelligence F@@@ All, sure all other clubs in Championship feel the same after all the spying scum did at training grounds...

 

Know a couple of decent leeds fans and you can have a quality conversation with them whether that's football related or not. usually have a bet with them begging of each season to see who will finish higher. lost last couple of season, was hoping to win one this season!
