No, I mean not sell season tickets in there so it's a flexible space that can be used for away supporters if and when the need arises, but tickets can be bought there by home supporters if if the need doesn't. Anyway it's academic as we aren't in the Championship and won't be for a while.

 

Lee Bell is a risky risky strategy from the club… season tickets are so key and I thought they’d go for a name in this league like the Cowleys.

We seem to say this after every appointment but this feels so key get it wrong and not sure there is any coming back.

For what it’s worth if we are after him it’s because he can do it on a relatively low budget. We’ve been down this road before with Adam’s and I doesn’t translate into managing this club.

 

How did it go for hughes & Adams getting High profile names at this level?
All I want from a manager is to go out & try win games and for teams to worry about us instead of other way round for once , we always say we’re a big club in this league but we never have that mentality.

You are uprooting them, but for a full season instead of the odd game here and there which the majority in there are more than happy with.

It just seems to me that this creates far more hassle than it solves as all the decent side view seats are already taken by long term ST holders so anyone moving would consider it a downgrade.

 

It would certainly be 'popcorn' time if that happened!

 

And where would they all go? Would they have to find the odd seat here and there up in the gods?
It will never happen and nor will it ever happen that they scrap the current ST reservations and make everybody start again.

I wondered where would be if we took Wellens on instead of Hughes, i doubt he would leave Orient but id be on the phone to sound him out if he fancies it.

 

I would definitely try have a chat with him, I would think he would like to be back up north at the very least.

 

Hopefully any new manager will have them running around a lot more and keep them on their toes.

Brad Halliday stated in todays T & A, that all the players came off blowing on saturday and that he couldnt say that too many times this season!!

Im sorry but regardless of tactics, "blowing" should be a given. If the in possession tactics are slow and laboured, then run bloody harder and faster without the ball seeing as you have the energy.

Id like to think he has been misquoted, but if not then the players have been as culpable as Hughes if thats the case

You are bang right about it being different times and as a consequence player/managers are like rocking horse poo.
Big Kev has said that he wants to carry on playing and after all that he has been through to get back to playing you can't really blame him. Having said that he gave us a glimpse on Saturday of how we can be successful if we play with the right energy and have a high press with good movement. We played with the same 4 2 3 1 formation but cut out the frustrating playing it out (and across) from the back. Playing higher up the pitch meant the three behind Andy Cook were a lot nearer to him which made him far more effective. In fact although Cooky didn't score, and he could have had an hat trick, I felt it was his best all round performance for us. It was hard to pick out a below par performance to be honest.
All this needs to be taken into account when appointing a new management team. Although Young wasn't allowed to play against us on Saturday we shouldn't forget that before Saturday's game Swindon were 4 points behind the leaders with a game in hand.

 

Well, if he is appointed, I hope he bring 19year old midfielder Joel Tabiner with him, what a talent that kid is.
