Wouldn't mind that appointment, got Blackpool up first time of asking!

 

Gotta be Warnock until the summer.

Short term gig that gets him his 12 games for the 1500 mark. He's reasonably local, no long term commitment needed on his part, not too much stress really. We have a squad that's geared up for long term football and even with 1 or 2 deficiencies, theres enough in this squad to give him a chance of promotion. All goes well and maybe he'd fancy another year. He might prefer to wait for a higher league opportunity but he's 71 so you never know what's round the corner. As a short term commitment it would surely suit everyone.

Yeah, I'd take him. He's a driven, natural born winner. How many promotions has he had? Might he about the record for him but I think he'd want to deliver too. Could be his last ever gig, why not go out on a promotion? He'd get this lot into shape quickly. That's what we need if we go down the short term route - a quick response.

Alternative is to appoint someone for the longer term now and accept that the season might be about no more than laying the foundations for next

 

This appointment has got to be the right one no matter who it is, we needs someone to come in and make an impression straight away, not forgetting getting as many as possible renewing next season.

 

How about going a bit left field....
Phil Parkin, must be bored being a number 2, always wanted to be the boss but didn’t work out when at Rochdale, big affinity for the club, as nasty as it gets, Can you imagine walking into a Parkin dressing room 3-0 down at half time....ouch.
Has worked with PP long enough to pick up his good habits in terms of player fitness, diet and conditioning. Would kick our lack lustre defence and midfield up the arris. Might not be pretty, might spend most matches in stand but would be some ride!!

 

Yes he lives in Cornwall but he’s basically said that his house is a building sites at the moment so he’d live up here short term.

 

Just can't see Stuart coming back after leaving under the same owner.

 

It's got to be someone proven to come in who can handle expectations Otherwise ant young manager who may or may not hit the ground running Wil be on a hiding to nothing

 

He bottled it at Notts County then got sacked. Done nothing since.

Well that is a surprise. I was at Valley Parade this evening for Bantams Fit Fan. The growlights were on in front of the goal mouths but I couldn't see lights on in the offices.

Edit: I understand the Supporters Board was meeting this evening. Not sure what time or where, but I couldn't see lights on. An alarm went off in the Commercial suite just after 8.

 

If we appoint Kevin Nolan then there was no point in sacking Bowyer.

For me @Park bantam is correct. It's a weak and lazy appointment.

As for the attractive football I can't really remember the Klopp style football under McCall.
