It’s my opinion that all that is going on now is Manufactured by our owners, intitially when they first took ownership and of course ended up at Wembley they could see the good times sadly we lost out to Millwall, Rahic obviously took stock of the costs involved in not only running the club but can Rahic and Ruppe really afford championship football NO. The only alternative is to try and recoup the investment they have put in everything is now in place regarding costs involved in running Bradford City F.C. all the top earners have gone a streamlined coaching staff and the more unrest created with poor performances on the pitch will undoubtedly bring interest from the media and investors, hence I think this club will be sold before the end of this season.

It’s crossed my mind that if you wanted to wind a club up some of these actions are the way to go but the ego that is Rahic would not want to admit he got it all wrong. From playoff contenders to here and with vacant club positions leaving huge holes, our fall in a little over a year has been spectacular. This is not a overall, he’s misjudged the cost and size of the task. I’ve said it before, this guy is our own Donald Trump. There are enough people that have dealt with him and can judge him better than me who will confirm he is a narcissistic egomaniac. He’s heading up a blind alley. The only way he will change is if someone orders to.

He did the same with a few of us regarding Bruenker, although we only mentioned the league he came from. Easy insult to chuck so you don't actually have to debate. And yes it is an insult to be labelled something you aren't.

I'm not reading 12 pages of this but can someone tell me the protest was laughed at and is now no longer an idea?

I don't see what is wrong with mentioning a country as long as it is not said in a way that is insulting (in any way shape or form) to the country in question.

I am totally baffled as to why we are becoming so politically correct that it is now a problem to mention the name of a country.

    What next?

Maybe we should stop chanting Yorkshire, Yorkshire, Yorkshire as it might offend someone who is from a different county.

Or maybe actually chanting 'City' is offensive to Huddersfield Town fans as they are only a town.

Heck, let's go the whole way for fear of offending anyone.

"The refereers a wan**r" can become "The referee made an unintentional error and we forgive him"

"You fat bast**d" (sang at goalkeepers) could become "You beloved man in the green jersey"

And "We all hate Leeds" could become ... err ... "We all love our neighbours"

Quite simply one of the most astoundingly dumb things I have ever read on this forum.

    And that's some claim.

    Why not?

Do you have a problem with people's nationalities or is it just German's in particular?

Are there other adjectives you don't want people to use, or is just countries and nationalities.

Serious question. Why would anyone have a problem with the simple use of nationality and/or country? I am British. I am a Yorkshireman. I am English. I have absolutely no problem with anyone using these terms to describe me. Why on earth would I?

Don't know how much difference it'll make but I'm in for £20 as well, as it'll at least make people take notice. In fact if people are struggling to get the money together I'll make it £50 if someone gets it arranged.

My thoughts are to design a 'Rahic Out' t-shirt. Then set up a crowd funding page to buy a few thousand. If successful, the shirts will be given away for free on Midland Road Rd before a home game.

The worst kind of leadership tries to micro-manage everything, bully if things don’t go their way, destroy relationships and ergo, destroy the organisation. Unfortunately, they just don’t see it.

I remember seeing that and would be willing to do something similar. The only problem I see would be in getting enough fellow fans to do the same. We’d need a few thousand leaflets to be handed out in each stand with a message like “are you concerned at the way our club is being destroyed by Edin? Then please join our protest by leaving your seat in xx minute and congregating in the concourse for 10 minutes before returning to your seat”

Anybody believe that Edin gives a toss what the fans think? He’s allegedly annoyed everyone who has worked for him, so if it’s true he can’t be that bothered about what people think.

If he was truly someone who listened to other people’s opinions and ideas then you’d assume the club wouldn’t be in the shit state it is.

Nobody is promoting xenophobic or racist chanting or anything else. What are you saying is this we can’t protest because a few city fans may harbour these thoughts and feelings and then the rest of us are responsible? Give me a break !!!! So we are all to sit back and do nothing while our club goes to the wall again!!!

I was pointing out the correct term to use. Until people understand when something is actually xenophobic they should really refrain from using the term.

As of this point in time I haven't seen any 'evidence' just lots and lots of people on here trotting out the same theories. We haven't had a single applicant come out and make an on the record statement that they even applied for the job never mind why they turned it down....if they did. Other than Grayson and he decided he was too big for us or more likely the job was too big for him. Oh and of course there is the ... my mate has a mate and his milkman had a beer in a pub in Doncaster where he got talking to a guy who knows someone on the board of Hereford Town who says that he heard on a recent business meeting in Carlisle that [Insert name] turned down the Bradford City job as he didn't like Edin Rahic.

Edin gave an internal resource a go... it hasn't worked out so he has gone back to the tried and tested. Maybe (there's that word again) he liked Hopkins back in the summer but having just left Livingstone Hopkins didn't want to jump right back in....but we stayed in touch.

Happens all the time in business.

We now have what most on here have been wanting, a seasoned manager, the club have invested heavily in playing staff and ground improvements. We are overall in a better position (maybe not league position wise but..) structurally and financially than we have been for a long time

In my opinion the board have been both decisive and pragmatic.

They didn't just appoint any old seasoned pro in the summer because the crowd were baying for one. they made that mistake in their first appointment and recognised it. They didn't see anyone they liked so they promoted internally but at the same time (and this is evidenced by how quickly they were able to roll out Mr Hopkin) they kept their options and communications channels open to other parties.

They saw the current set up wasn't working, apparently some time ago, and made their move. They didn't shout and stamp their feet. They got on with it quietly in the background, identified their man and moved quickly.

Like everything else in the summer they played this very close to their chest. Good on them and they caught the 'haters' on the back foot.

I have to admire Edin. Whenever the whingers and moaners on here get themselves into a fully lathered up hate frenzy he completely out manoeuvres them and leaves them grasping at straws and in his dust trail! And all it does is make them hate him even more! "Yea, well, he might have done that but.....what about this, what about that, he still hasn't sorted out the webpage and I didn't get my Parader badge with my season ticket. EDIN OUT!"

    Love it!

Although I feel for Michael Collins and his team. It is a business. He will have known that.

Edin is there to make the hard decisions and it is evident he has no problem making and delivering them. Exactly what we need if we are to REALLY progress.

    EDIN IN!

As a Bradford City fan I'm delighted Stefan got involved and gave Edin a slap, let's hope Dave Hopkin is his own man and does not allow any kind of outside interference from non football employees of our club. you have more than enough on your plate Edin leave the football to the professionals.

Again, another post where probability just isn't tolerated.

This hard line stance is why your post make such little sense to quite a few posters on here.

The chances that aliens built the pyramids? Well, there is no evidence of aliens existing anywhere in our universe, so it's unlikely.

The chances that Rupp intervened? Well, pretty sure Rupp exists, is the money man, and has an interest in his investment, so it's quite possible. Definite, though? Of course not.

Isn't it about time you stopped hiding behind hard facts when almost none are ever going to present themselves regardless of how things go at the club, and started entertaining possibilities?

You could deny virtually everything in life with your 'on the fence' style. Are you scared to have an opinion?

It was always a gamble to appoint Collins and to imply anything else is ludicrous. However, the odds were stacked against him. You laugh at the suggestion that Rahic has changed his approach in order to attract Hopkin to the club, but give full credit to the idea the squad attracted him now as opposed to June. Looking at what others are saying it is not really his type of players, well certainly not at the moment and we are missing a big lad up front unless young Clare comes into the equation, so your theory is weak.

Rahic went for the cheap option full on. You do not give 3 year contracts out unless you are in for the long haul. In my view he wanted him because he would be able to manipulate, and he has always said he wants to be fully involved. I think the change has come from the club, and especially the fact that he has appointed Hopkin. What I know about him is he will not tolerate interference from Rahic either on the training field or dressing room. I am sure he will listen, and if he fits in with what he wants to do fine, if not it will be done the Hopkin way, and if things get heated and unworkable expect to see another manager, as he will walk.
