Fantastic win, Cook being fit and scoring is the key to keeping Hughes in his job. It’s taken Hughes a lot of games and player selection to find a team that can create more than a couple of chances in one game, We all hope he keeps the team playing with this momentum. I genuinely hope so.

 

So we are now 2 points from a play off spot and only 4 from automatic. Of course this win doesn’t suddenly turn Hughes into Pep but I think it underlines the stupidness of wanting him sacked at this stage of the season.

I saw some of the pelters last week McDonald got from some quarters but I think he could be a really important player for us this season if he stays fit
