Disgraceful performance and attitude.

 

Completely agree. Its exposed all of our frailties, and their are plenty. It's a food job we're safe, because I expect poor results over the next few weeks.

Massive rebuild in the summer and for me, the run up to May is now about being ready for next season.

Absolutely NO game plan at all. Absolutely NO ONE prepared to grab the game by the scruff of the neck to make things happen.
In that first half, can you think of one move, one passage of play that looks like we know what we’re doing? NO? Me neither.

 

Has hardly played but apparently he's the saviour. This ain't something one player can change, it's the whole attitude of the club.

It's a good job we got points in the bag earlier in the season, beacuse we've been relegation fodder since the turn of the year

 

It's amazing, for all the size of the squad we have no options in some positions and the January window was awful in letting players go and not replacing them. I know Palmer was poor but we are so short of midfielders now it's just awful.

 

Sick of these players who represent my club, we are division two and these losers make every team look better than us.

 

For the most part, it was the sort of league 2 game you're always going to see on that sort of pitch and in that weather.

Until our goal we were ok, generally. Then we seemed to switch off, stopped defending and 15 mins of being properly rubbish cost us the game.

Second half we were better and credit to McCall, he improved the performance after the break and with his subs.

Bottom line, too much of the squad needs reworking. Obviously, you dont give in but the next 2 months need to prioritise being ready for an overhaul in the summer.

Completely agree. This club will go nowhere without some serious changes. We're at a cross roads and we need to decide whether we want to grow the club or resign ourselves to being at the lower end of the professional pyramid indefinitely

 

I dont think we can go anywhere with the owner not being interested in anything but trying to get a return on his investment, £10m is a joke as we all know, either finance the club of sell it, were a very average league two club recognise the fact Stefan Rupp, you ain't getting your money back get real.

I'd love to know the basis for that statement. Sounds like bollocks to me. 1-2 years, maybe. After this summer we'll have very few players tied to overpriced contracts. Largely a clear deck in the summer if we want it to be. We've had windfalls that cover the deficit he created last year.

Sounds like the calling card of a club without a plan. A whingeing excuse, that was self inflicted to begin with.

Pound for pound, there are fewer clubs more mismanaged than we are. But perversely, I dont think there are many more attractive lower league candidates for a wealthy investor/speculator either
