New Signing - Paudie O'Connor Confirmed!

I remember him getting megged once - it happens. He got dragged out towards the wing as he was going with his man, it would have been worse if he'd left his man and not gone with him. I thought he looked far from out of his depth. He won the majority of his headers against a taller striker and looked composed on the ball. Really can't see how he looked so bad that he can be criticised.

 

I was wondering if that was only me that noticed that, I passed a similar comment to @Rogered Tart when we spoke on the phone.

 

The one where the ball would have gone out for a throw-in, McGowan ambled towards it, and Moore stepped in-front of him and easily won the possession ?

 

No it was defiantly a situation with O'Connor getting a god start on the Barnsley player and got beaten to the ball, I'll have a look on Dmitry's video he posted and check it out.

 

Oh I see, I'm thinking not only of a different situation but a different player, It's a Monday, I'll catch up by Wednesday !

That’s all about communication and passing your man on. Happens with settled defences. I can remember once being told to man mark someone. I followed him all the way to the touch line not realising he was being subbed. Chris Kamara esque

 

Agree, which is why I was surprised to see him start in a defence that has been solid recently.
