Still a young guy maybe a change of club and manager will lift him worth the risk.

    Eh?

Butterfield played both deep and attacking central midfield and Akpan played in the middle all season. I possibly get the point with Ball (although he's not a striker so....) but the other two? Sorry but I'm honestly baffled.

Previously played well for other teams (promoted too) including at a higher level. We got rid of Killa the season before (Player of the season the year before)and I bet our rivals went wow they must have some team them Bratfud boys. to let him go...... Super huge Rotehrham don't need him so that's our gain.

Palmer is a good gamble at those level so lets see!

Rotherham tended to bypass the midfield an awful lot. Not being a Rotherham type of player doesn’t make him a bad player

If he does well for us then we get continuity and maybe sign him
permanently as he looks like he has quality. If you think they
won't want him back the recall clause must be a "cover all
bases" from their point of view or why insist on the recall?

I’d expect it to be so they can put pressure on us to make it permanent. If he does well, and other clubs come sniffing, they can recall him and sell him for a few. Something they wouldn’t get if it was a season long loan
