Ok, so would you agree with @NorthernMonkey it doesn't seem right announcing a new member of staff or promotion when people are still on furlough.

Those still on furlough willl be extremely worried about their jobs but we announce this new media job. Doesn't seem right to me at all.

Let's have soon honest replies instead of just defending something. This club will never improve if it's never honest with itself or it's just defend, defend, defend. We all make mistakes.

 

Oh dear Fordy, all that business knowledge and you come up with this. I explained in my previous post that Lewis has been with the Club for some time. His permanent appointment is now confirmed as he is back full time. I appreciate that running your multi operation empire may have caused you to miss it but football starts tomorrow in earnest and to cover all that we need the media back and functioning.
If not this site would be full of critics like Fordy, oh sorry that's you, complaining about lack of coverage, etc, etc.
Other areas of the Club will not be able to function for a while just yet due to EFL rulings and so on thus why would people be taken off furlough when the Govt. are still running the scheme, even as it runs down to conclusion. Even you would agree that something is better than nothing, still saving the Club expense.

 

No mate I understand and I get it from a business point. I know how football works. Arsenal have made 55 people redundant but signing and offering big new contracts out to players but I have no problem with that. I have no problem with the club hiring or promoting people.

I'll be honest I like Ryan he's doing a great job and what he brings to the club and I sure Lewis will do an excellent job. I just want to hear and see more of the CEO or owner that's all because with all respect to others it's their thoughts that really count.

Oh I am not a critic of the club, I love the club but we are now in div 2. We can all blame Edin as much as we want but we are a DIV 2 club which is the LOWEST in the football league and we need to improve on and off the pitch! It's time for progress now! Wouldn't you agree?
