But do the mechanics of the scheme, if we compare away travel (which I recognise you do fortnightly, in effect) against say the 1903 thing seem fair to you?

Given a pie is £3 plus, you should get 10 loyalty points for every Chicken Balti or Meat & Potato or as they need to list ingredients by percentage these days, Pastry, air, potato and meat pie.

Away games give BCFC the least "take" so I don't agree. Should (and is) all be about £ spent at Valley Parade. Appreciate it's a big outlay and hats off to you for going, had it been later in the season I would have gone but am still recovering from a bank busting weekend in London where a bar bill in a rooftop bar in Leicester Sq was £198 for 10 drinks.
Laudable that you go so far, but spending money on trains, drinks and food in the smoke is no different to me spending money on a bus from Wilsden, beer in the NBH, a kebab and taxi home. It's just more of it and my spend helps the local economy which needs it more.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

For all those wondering how they'll track the attendance of season ticket holders it looks like, according to the blurb for the home pre-season games, we now have the technology to scan an e-ticket. I know our season tickets have been scanned previously on the turnstile but I'm guessing we've upgraded that so we can now track that back to an individual. I might be wrong though.

Ultimately there will be no perfect solution that suits 100% of people.
Anyone know how much the Away Priority is going to cost? Apart from saying it's going on sale tomorrow at 9am I can't see any more detail. -

I don’t think there is a fan who begrudges those who buy an away priority ticket and attend away matches regularly getting first goes at tickets. However when it comes to the very occasional big match such as Chelsea and others then I think other considerations need to come into it. People who have had season tickets for many years through thin and thin have shown loyalty people who voluntarily raise money for the club. So the loyalty scheme does a little bit in that regard

They obviously think they've finally got those little barcode scanners working properly now.
I only encountered them working maybe twice and the rest of the time the person on the turnstile wrote my membership number down on a piece of paper.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

Although it's an easy case to make that if you're spending £20 for every away game, the Away Day Priority only adds £1 per game - that's how people like to dress up season ticket prices, anyway. You can then imply than the 1903 club only adds £2 per home game.
"Only, only, only" being the mantra of the subscription age, which, whether we like it or not, we're in.
So I think those who go to EVERY City game are being rewarded, and at a very small additional cost. -

I try to make most sat home games which is an 180 mile round trip for me, I used to buy an away priority but only go to a few away games and have an overnight stopover, unfortunately if I purchased an away priority I have a lot less chance of getting an away ticket now because it is points based on the amount home games that are attended and not being a member of 1903 club even though I have purchased a season ticket and did not miss one game last season on IFollow including all the tripe that was served up classed as entertainment, maybe I should get back in with Shipley Bantams tickets won’t be a problem certainly will not be buying an away priority now.
