New Kit

Its needed against anybody who play in red and white. White clashes with home, red clashes with claret in the away.

White shirt be ok against some of the below but think a few have red shorts which clash with our claret home shorts. So might just wear blue anyway.

Oh I do, but the buttons down the front would get in the way a bit. I always wore the corporals uniform as it was more comfy for action than the Generals.

You'd have to be seriously colour blind to consider that either our claret & amber or our white kits would 'clash' with teams that play in red and white.
It's all just a ruse to sell more shirts

League rules fella. And we dont have a 'white kit'. We have a white and claret kit. And a claret, amber and black away kit. You are also forgetting the shorts and socks that can clash. Dont assume it is only shirt clashes.

Too much white in this home shirt and too much claret and black in our away kit. We will need the blue for Exeter away.

 

Yeah, I'd agree the blue is the most likely to be used for Exeter. Our away kit would slightly clash imo.

Kits always clashed when I watched football on TV on my parents black and white TV in the 60"s!

 

That's a really good point Sergio and one I hadn't even thought about. Mind you, in a perfect world, I'd be with Idle on the idea of an all claret 'Roma' kit - an absolute corker of a strip. Those Italians with their classic designs - cars, fashion, football shirts. You gotta admire them.

Jesus what a set of colour blind twats we are. I remember plenty of matches circa 1970 where one team were all red, the other all blue and the telly was black and white.

Remember pot black ? "For those watching in black and white, the pink is sat just behind the blue."

 

Its not about the fans...it's for the players, commentators and most importantly the officials. They all have see down the other end of the pitch and be able to make out players clearly.
