Having seen everything that’s been said by Ryan recently, it’s got to be a version of this. I’m looking forward to see it.

 

Well then, if it’s white, It could also commemorate the promotion winning 84/85 shirt. Brave move if so.

The word “unique” worries me. Means its ad hoc and not a generic shirt. I’m thinking names or something like that intertwined into the design. They’re already doing that for the loyalty club members shirt, so maybe the first team shirt too. Unique also means standalone, so maybe the shirt isn’t modelled on any previous kit at all. Unique also generally means not liked, quirky, individual!

Absolutely. Car retailing has gone mental.Buyers emerge from the pandemic and there is now a worldwide shortage of new vehicles.

Used 2 year old quality VW with say 4K on the clock are being sold by dealerships ( and being bought!) for more than the price of a brand spanking new one I understand.

Used ID3’s more expensive than brand new.

Worldwide shortage of chips means manufacturers have had to stop high volume building.

 

The club certainly does seem to have got its marketing head on. I am loving all the promo videos.

 

If they have @1975citygent, I have never met them. One of the things I like now is how us older people always seem to break into a smile talking about Bobby. I guess we're the lucky ones.

 

Give over, who cares. Will make a nice change.

 

What I meant was that sometimes the memory fades. Bronco makes a good point, it wasn't just the football/goals, Bobby was a character and he had a personality about him.

 

Its for one season and the kit will have claret and amber in it. We are in the doldrums of L2. F&&k what the football world knows us as!!!

 

Hi Bronco. Its nice to put a face to the name. I believe i used to play bowls with you and your brother at Bradford moor , many a year ago. You may also remember my dad Brian C . God rest his soul.

 

Mick Bates has passed today, aged 73. Made 56 appearences. Club havent released anything. This may delay the kit launch....doesnt seem right.

 

Love it, although the star encroaching into the amber will annoy the hell out of me!

 

Nice away kit; when's the home one out?

Personally not a fan of such a huge change; loses a lot of the visual uniqueness IMO.

 

Although I prefer the stripes, its quite a smart change and probably more versatile to wear as leisurewear away from matchdays.

Lets hope history repeats itself and we are promoted this coming season wearing it

 

If our tradition is to have some flexibility with our shirts unlike those mentioned then I’m all for it, most of them kits are dull and can only be told apart due to the badge and sponsor. The likes of United, Liverpool and Arsenal only sell so many every season due to fan base and the badge on the shirt. Doesn’t make them a good kit.

 

It might be for our generation mate, but many youngsters wear their football shirts leisurely, no problem with that at all

 

Why? I wouldn't wear one going for a meal or the like but on holiday or walk round the park I've done a few times.

 

Even more reason to wear your City gear if you're in the White Rose .

 

So do I but any adult wearing crocs definitely tests that theory.
