I'm happy just to walk through the turnstile at 2.58 and then get away as fast as I can at the final whistle......

Mmmm I think something in the lines of a 1903 Edwardian pavilion would look just great!

Something a little larger than this. ;)

Yes a lot of variation. Sheesh Mahl on St Thomas’s Road doesn’t, yet Kiplings and Prashad both did. There is clearly a flexible approach.

Shall we stop serving alcohol at the kiosks and in the suites as well?

I just feel facilities that cater mainly for one particular group of people could be counter productive. We're all there to watch Bradford City and as such it would be nice if there was an inclusive space for everyone to mix. What that resembles though I've no idea.

In normal times I park my car near the ground every home game and have done for many years. Never had a problem.
Why is Manningham unsafe to walk around? In 40 years of living in Bradford I've not once felt unsafe or been threatened when in Manningham.

With parking at a premium and those spaces generally occupied by members/players of the club, its not an option. Rugby generally gets the off field hospitality done very well, its first class at the Rhinos. Go back a few years to the Bulls heyday and Odsal was a great place to take a family, the stadium had its limitations but also had positives with a lot of unused space to exploit. VP doesn't have that luxury and its geographical location again somewhat limits what the marketing department can do.

I think what has changed is not unique to Manningham and surrounding areas, its more of a society change than a post code. Society just seems more angry these days with an attitude of i'll do what i want when i want and stuff anyone else. Maybe the growth of social media has something to do with it, i don't know?

With the added bonus you can park in the Church’s factory shop car park! @Offcomedun@Offcomedun would appreciate it.;)

You can indeed @Bigrod@Bigrod but given that there are a few decent pubs near "The Gardens", the fan zone entices you drink more and you can enjoy a pint of Guinness (or whatever flat southern beer you choose as an alternative) at your seat then I wouldn't recommend driving.

My bro-in-law is a big Saints fan and I'm looking forward to the next visit when Boris gives us parole.

That said, last time I fell asleep during the match whilst mid chorus of "Toby Flood, is a banker, is a banker"

That's it, turn the Bantams Bar into a fan zone. I'm up for that.

We walked the full length of the Rochdale Canal back in the first lockdown (allowable exercise I might add) starting at Castlefields at Midnight and ending in Sowerby Bridge around 1pm. We got to the area around Miles Plating about 1.30am and it was a like walking through the set of Shameless. Kids everywhere, offering us drugs as we walked past (white kids I might add) many of them in dressing gowns, smoking dope and doing whizz. I swear Frank Gallagher joined us for a while.

Not a nice place to be, but the bonus was we made around £200 retrieving pound coins from the shopping trolleys thrown into the canal.

I wouldn't have done that alone, in fact I wouldn't do it again, and I wouldn't go anywhere near Chapletown, Beeston or Dewsbury Rd in Leeds alone and at night and I don't think I'd walk anywhere near Gorton alone at night.

I once dropped my daughter off at one of these "warehouse projects" in Hunslet in the middle of the day and whilst I was waiting for her and a friend to use a cash machine, was accosted by a no teeth old prossie asking if I was looking for business.

Thanks ... wasn't clear enough. Traffic in the area makes it unsafe in my view. Don't like to get my car damaged or broken into either.

The Garden Gate is the one in Hunslet. The links should give you a feel of the pubs. Also try Google images.

Yes, been there. Not bad. As you'd probably expect, whitelocks is my fave in Leeds, closely followed by the Vic behind the town hall

They won't be building anything, I'd expect any facility to be a temporary fitting. Aren't they using the community centre?
