New expections for the season?

Bit early to be on the beer mate .

 

Have we still not got an ice bath, send someone to Sainburys up the road for a dozen packs of ice ?.

 

Anything other than relegation is a result from here. Damage limitation like everything else at the club.

 

avoiding the drop would be an achievement. such is how far backwards we've gone under the owners.

 

To enjoy the football at valley parade instead of watching some right dross.

 

Which is why I won't be going to Shipley, today.
My Saturday is now planned .......... Early morning shop at Morrisons, weekly bedding wash, sort my paper work, answer my emails, throw the vacuum cleaner around my pad, dry the bedding, have lunch then tune into our next failure.
Thank goodness 4 bottles of Guinness are on my shopping list - for better, or worse.

 

Can you come to my place and sort my stuff out too? Oh and leave the Guinness in the fridge too please.

 

The best bit is Morrisons ........ Arrive about 07.40, take my pick of freshly laid out stock, and finish just as the cafeteria opens (08.00) ....... Breakfast sorted - No crowds or hassle.

 

I've been known to have a 5 lane ends breakfast myself, at the moment they're far above the football in terms of enjoyment.

 

As I mentioned some time ago - 5 Lane Ends is by far my best experience with Morrisons.

 

Chris can do my washing, hovering (Dysoning actually) dry the washing, make my lunch all for 4 bottles of Guinness.

'Hovering' is what you do down Apperley Bridge on training days, mate!

 

I am not daft...............my expectation is exactly the same as it was pre-season, you can't keep on replacing players with inferior ones without their being a day of reckoning, staying up is the target. It's a poor best 11 and a garbage squad in a garbage kit, it's not going to go down as a good season.

Expectation: mid table finish

 

You're optimistic. I'll be delighted with a 20th place finish.

Let's just make sure there are four worse than us.

 

I have a feeling Mr Hopkin would see that as a massive personal failure. And that gives me hope.
