What about having a song by a bradford group like Agadoo by Black Lace or Tequila by Terrorvision to walk out to??
15000 fans doing the Agadoo dance would be an impressive sight -

And aren't the Cult from our fair city too? If so She Sells Sanctuary would be another good un for the players to walk out to. -

Would love to hear ‘The Seeker’ by The Who as a top rocking tune however ‘ Born to run’ Springsteen would be great, maybe one from Akpan to motivate him and set the scene. Walking on sunshine by Katrina and the Waves is a bouncing tune to open up.
At the moment ‘ don’t stop believin’ by Journey would be appropriate and finally ‘another one bites the dust’ by Queen to put pressure on the opposition at home would be interesting. -

I thought we came out to a classical piece once. Was it, Fanfare for the Common Man, by Copland, or Carmina Burana, by Orff?

A big thank you to everyone for commenting and sharing your memories, its invaluable to the project.
To answer a few questions - the reason we're doing this study is because we're football fans who are all interested in the game and what it says about the wider culture we live in. We're not only interested in what the music is/was, but the why - we're keen to see how changes in style, type of music used relate to a club's status, wider music fashions, the wider fashionability of football, how clubs have attempted to commodify the match going experience and so on.
If anyone else has any songs to share please let me know. If you remember roughly what season a song was played that's very helpful too!

I would prefer something adapted from the Terrorvision catalogue (driving Rock from the 90’s- Early 00’s) or ‘Into the valley’ by the Skids, given that we play at VP.
Always thought clubs could offer a suggestion of several different songs and have a vote on the matter. Mmm all about ‘engagement’ and increasing supporters involvement.
Perhaps you could expand your dissertation project to have an ‘aspirations’ section!
