Hi Ho Silver Bloody Lining, talk about original, a great song back in the 60s but as the years go by it's become tedious as most fans just adapt it to their particular club.
I'd love "Play the Game" by Motorhead full volume as the teams come out, but it looks like we'll have to live with Jeff Becks rendition of Hi Ho Sliver Bloody Lining .

 

I sit in the upper top. What's all this about team coming out to music?

Wouldn't university students be better off solving global warming or finding a coronavirus cure. Compiling a football top ten is dumbing down in the extreme.

 

It was the A Team theme tune in the PL promotion season.

 

Agreed it’s awful and unimaginative, made worse by saying super city instead of Bradford City. We’re one of the lowest teams named city in the FL, super we aren’t. I wasn’t a big fan of Take me home, well our rendition anyway, but at least it was unique to us. I’d make a more upbeat version of that, similar to Man City’s blue moon.

 

It was this stupid Ice Bears song.

What the hell was that all about?! Why were we walking out to some German Ice Hockey tune?!

 

The theme from Steptoe and Son would have been more appropriate.

 

And wasn't it 'Down Down, Deeper And Down' in the year we got relegated?

 

I thought it was the sound of tumbleweed mixed with the ambient sound of car windows being smashed and alarms going off in the distance. MC Charlie swearing profusely over the top.

 

ha ha. Utter madness!

 

In to the valley by the skids is my favourite. Couple of wo hohs in it to get behind after a few warm up beers.

 

The Cult aren't really from Bradford. The singer, Ian Astbury, lived here for a bit, but he's a Scouser originally I believe. The guitarist, Billy Duffy is a Manc and a diehard (meaning he was watching them long before their rise to prominence) City fan.
I think Astbury may have written a few Cult (or Southern Death Cult as they were originally known) songs whilst he was living in Bradford though. I think the lyrics to ' She Sells Sanctuary' could very well upset some fans if it was used, lots of fire and burning imagery employed.

 

Not a song to come out to but as an oldie I am enjoying the classic Rainbow Valley by Love Affair from the 60s which is being played on a regular basis. ( although the sun has been somewhat lacking from our Valley for the last couple of years )

 

From memory after a victory in the Nicky Law senior period, we played the Clashes version of “I fought the law”

 

Didn’t we come out to “the only way is up” in the promotion season to Prem?

 

The A-Team. Used in the promotion season to the Premier League and for our brief stint as a Premier League club.

 

Aerosmith - Walk This Way - was used. Cannot remember the season.

 

What was the German one that we had when Edin and Stefan took over. No idea what the words were but a bit of it went whooooooa whooooooa lol

 

Im not sure, I do remember that song being played though.
