Morrisons in trouble ... ?

Garages/ Petrol stations now stripped out and sold.

 

Swapped to Sainsbury's in the last 8 months. Morrisons one or two visits a year for us in the last 6 years . Tescos don’t give a feck about customers.

 

Haven't shopped at Tescos for a long time despite it being close to home. Shocking quality, high prices and a woeful shopping experience.

 

Don't go to the Sainsburys at Greengates as it is shocking

 

Have to say the K/ Lynn one we use is very good. Wasn’t the Greengates one , one of the first in Bradford?

 

In what respect(s) is it shocking? Genuine question. I don’t shop there these days but used go in quite often when I worked in Greengates and it was decent then.

 

Shopped at Sainsbury's for years, we always feel very looked after, in fact the manager gave us a free box of mince pies at Christmas, it doesn't take much to keep me happy haha

It used to be good but just seems to have gone down hill. More and more queues, even at the self serve. Think there are only a handful of tills even if they are all open but the self serve are not fit for purpose for doing a big shop, unlike the ones up at Morrisons E5. Everytime I decide to give it another go rather than our usual Morrisons I end up still having to go back up to Morrisons as the availability at Sainsburys is so poor that I need to go elsewhere to finish my shopping so no real point as I may as well just go to the other place.

 

I used to go to school in Greengates.

No Sainsbury then.

Pub on corner, The Seven Bells.

And the other one with a garden.

Call me old fashioned …..I want to see people in jobs so refuse to use self check outs. They pay me for using them . …No . So they can feck off.
I’d rather Q. Some supermarkets are now taking em out ……brilliant.

Think it is Booths that are taking them out of some of their stores due to lack of use, but not sure if they are putting the old tills back in

 

I know, yes an era back , I used to go down there occasionally as a Friday night change. Late 70’s .

 

I remember them being there and going in after working at Homebase so that must have been mid 90s but Roebuck was in need of repair by then

 

I honestly don’t remember that. Kids weren’t even born then, and the daughter is 40!
