    It's hardly a defeatist attitude, more of a realistic attitude. Anyone who thinks we should go to the bother of trying to attract him is a massive WUM or off their head on some illegal substance

    If he had no connection to us I would absolutely agree.

    However, he has essentially set up a long term business in our City, with direct links to our club, he’s approaching the latter year or 2 of his career, why would you not want to be ambitious.

    Many would have dismissed Mark Hughes dropping down to bottom half League Two as someone being off their heads for merely suggesting it.

    There’s more chance of the Bantam Belles making a return than Ozil signing!

    We could afford maybe 2-3% of his wage even if he overlooked European football for league Two football!
