McCall - officially new manager

Like a breath of fresh air. I just hope he wants success as much as Gary did. I say 'as much' because nobody wanted it more than Gary.

 

Refreshing to hear a manager not bigging the other side up and talking about us hurting them,

 

Not so sure now. Stuart is as honest as they come. He says that it all came out of the blue yesterday late afternoon!! Julian was talking about Thursday start, but Stuart insisted that he and Kenny come in today. Was at training this morning at 8!, double training today and probably tomorrow..

 

Best of luck to him, he deserves it having been shabbily treated by the club last time. He has lost weight and looks in good health.

 

Not sure they'll will be in tomorrow they are usually training on a Thursday, I believe Bowyer had them in yesterday, as someone said he was sat in the dug out by himself for quite a while.

 

I’m pretty sure he was fibbing because he mentioned that fact about four times

 

Don’t worry all them school meals at training will soon fatten him up.

 

They're back in on Thursday for a double session.

 

So bloody refreshing to hear our manager say, let's not worry about them(Grimsby), let them worry about us, we have to get our crowd going and we do that by playing good attacking football .

Now that is music to my ears.

 

Only takes 30 seconds to get those transfers on, I know have had it done for years with my 2 lads!! Will have plenty training gear in stock as well.

 

It doesn't really matter does it. As has already said if he was contacted prior to Bowyer being sacked he can't say it so let's move on.

 

OK I wasn't sure earlier about the appointment but after listening, ain't he just likeable.

One of my all time City favourites as a player, but can’t help feeling this is a bit like a child wanting a comfort blanket before bed. While City sleep, other clubs are awake and making plans.

Would’ve been nice to get a young manager in but our fans don’t have the patience. I fear we’re destined to be another Crewe (Dario Grady), Rochdale (Keith Hill), Barnet (Martin Allen). All teams that linger around league 1 and 2 for the most part.

 

Our recent wretched performances lacked "passion",
Now we have a guy in charge who has bucket loads
of it and he will pass that onto the players.I expect a
resurgence in level of performances and other teams
to realise Bradford are BACK !!!!

Even the local weather was feeling the McCall effect, plenty of sunny intervals and at one stage a balmy 10/11 degrees.
Very un-seasonal.
Which brings me to saturday and a weather warning.
Wind.
There will be plenty of hot air at Valley Parade.

He's not a bad header of the ball but good with his feet for a big lad. I likened him to a kind of a Peter Crouch who was better with his feet than given credit for.
