Genuine question. Where is this McCall love in you refer to? As far as I can see it's anything but that. If there are any fans in that "mode" then I suggest they are in a small minority and dwindling rapidly.

The CEO vacancy is a load of rubbish it's taken to long in my opinion,if there was to be one it would be a Cheap .Employee. Option in other words promotion from within.

I dont think he's the root of our problems, but neither do I think he's the man for the job. I dont really see how sacking him right now would change the squad. they'll be shit no matter who's in charge of them. The pst few transfer windows have killed us, both in failing to get deals over the line and bringing in substandard players or ones with attitude problems. Again, no plan, jno direction, just muddle through and hope we don't regress. Spent my whole life supporting city and this is pretty much the lowest I've ever felt about where we are

 

Its gonna take some rebuilding this squad. Sacking yet another manager is pointless. We don't have anyone who can score, no manager is going to change that. Could be another transfer window or 2 before we sort this team out.
Bowyer made a right mess last season and we are still paying for it.

 

Do you have confidence in SM bringing the right people in? Look at his signings pre season, have they impressed you?

 

Mcall is the worst Manager in the league over the last 3 years in the football league - how many games has he actually won with Scunthorpe and Bradford combined.............. I will say no more on the subject.

The sooner we get rid the better for all concerned.

why has the other thread been locked? there's only going to be the same points made here that were made there.

in terms of in or out, i was never in in the first place and have made that very clear since. in terms of it would be the same squad if another manager was brought in - we need to be hard to beat and at the moment we are far too easy to score against. Bowyer had, pretty much, the same back four as McCall and we were more often than not solid. didn't we have the best defensive record in the division for a long spell? going forward, there's not much to choose between McCall and Bowyer at the moment - both are difficult to watch. that doesn't advocate for a return to Bowyer, but it does show that the team can be solid if coached and set up correctly. McCall (still) isn't the man to take us forward either.

 

There might still be the odd one or two who thinks McCall deserves more time........but I don't think anyone on here actually thinks DMH is a footballer. (should have signed Connolly....I'll get my coat)

 

Most of our best players this season are ones stuart brought in or gave a chance to (in reference to the younger ones).
Watt, Clarke, Staunton, Hosannah in the few games he's played) French.
BRE (our worst defender), Donaldson and Guthrie (2 strikers who couldn't score in a brothel) not his signings. Like I say its going to take longer to sort this mess out.) Than the one window.

The best players so far this season, in my opinion, are Wood, Staunton and Clarke. McCall brought just one of them to the club.

 

Wasn’t French signed start of last season, so before McCall? And Stauton got his deal before SM.

 

Bowyer never had us anywhere near the bottom though did he?. McCall has taken us from 8th to 20th, anybody but McCall, and I am pretty certain that 90% of fans would want rid

 

One thing I really wish is Stuart, without any restrictions, could come out and tells us what he is going to change to turn this around in 18 months as he states - almost like a job interview. I know many have already written him off (and with some justification) but I have not quite reached that stage - simply because there are so many other things wrong at our club.

But I really would love to hear what he has to say if he could do so in an unfiltered capacity and without restriction from above
