You are completely missing my point Bronco. I have nowhere had a dig at McCall in this.

My point is a general one regarding Covid restrictions. We are only supposed to travel outside our area when essential for medical reasons or work. I would argue that travelling to scout future opponents is hardly essential and also no Bolton fans could watch yet someone with no links to the club can. Sorry, but doesn't make sense

 

Should be able to watch the game on ifollow if he needs to scout it.

 

Plus the clip I saw on TV showed him wearing his mask over just his mouth and not his nose. Come on Stuart, ain't that tricky to wear your face mask accordingly.

OK for football types to just wander around the country, taking in games whilst we get sweet FA as fans. One rule for one, the rest get feck all.

My original post above was a little poke at fans who are accusing McCall of only getting players into the club buy watching video's on his IPad, I get your point but I don't think Stuart watching a game is that big a deal, there were plenty in attendance at the game no idea if they were all people who were Bolton or Salford employees.

 

Ifollow does not give you an overall view of how a certain player performs when not on the ball, it's what they are doing without the ball which is also very much part of his game..

 

But isn't Elite Football exempt to those type of restrictions, hence still playing and players travelling abroad...

 

Yes, but surely this means when it is an employee's own business or club, not to do a 100 mile round trip to watch a match between two teams you have no links to?

We got rid of Bowyer for less, but the Manager is the least of our problems. This goes right to the top, we all know it. Sacking McCall won’t change a thing....

What exactly is our position, what targets has the owner set SMc for the season?
Does the SP expect promotion this season?
Has he set a minimum acceptable position of mid table?
Maybe the target is simply survival in which case we are on track so why would he get sacked??

Salford, Mansfield and Bolton put the money in before the salary cap because they don't want to be in this division either.

what did we do? potter around, say we mean business, say we've got money, let players go and not replace them, make excuses around the salary cap and 'clubs not paying fees' etc, etc, etc. say it's difficult to find players, we've got an iPad and wyscout etc, etc, etc.

we are amateur. no bones about it.

we're here, in this league, for a long time.
