Has McCall not signed players? It makes me laugh how people who follow this club always make an excuse for FAILURE! Lets wait for a new CEO lol lol has to be the best one yet for a losers mindset.

Anyway, McCall's contract runs out at the end of the season. The question should have been what you renew McCall's contract if he doesn't take us up this season?

 

Agree with everything you have said apart from "treading water" a lot of clubs are weak this season for a multitude of reasons it would have been an ideal opportunity (pre wage cap). to get in players to virtually assure us of promotion it took us long enough to get out of this league last time unlikely we will get a better chance, unfortunately lack of ambition from above is preventing us judging what Stuart is capable of

 

The bar that's set for him is pretty low to be honest he is not failing (in the clubs eyes) if we finish mid table

 

If that is the plan then they need to hurry up and appoint the CEO so next season isn’t another wasted year whilst the CEO decides what they are doing longer term.

I can live with writing off one season to build a better long term but not writing off this season just to get us to next year that will be written off to allow the new boss to make changes

13 going on 14 years into his full time managerial career, across 5 separate clubs, 3 periods at Bradford City along with assistant coach experience at other clubs and we have supporters saying he needs time to 'prove his managerial credentials'.

WTF!

It really makes me wonder what planet some of these people are on.

 

Stuart is probably not the best or worst manager we have had or will have

I've just realised that if we finish mid table this year it will be 5 seasons we've started with Stuart that have all been unremarkable and forgettable.

I'd say that's more because of Donaldson not being up for a start more than McCall preferring Guthrie he's had a couple of knocks on his ankle area the last couple of games, Guthrie's got a start up to him to show what he can do and claim the shirt.

 

Think he needs to change how he selects his team. Should ditch the lucky dip hat and decide on his best formation and first choice team and stick with it.

chopping and changing every week on both players and formation makes it look like he hasn’t got a clue

 

I think he "overthinks" it. It can be a very simple game, put your best eleven players out there, your next best lot on the bench and change the mix when you see things happen on the pitch. It's probably me just "oversimplifying" things.

No problem with Novak, but dear me, at 60 years old, I could still do a better job up front than Guthrie, and I was a defender!

Currently over 80% of people on here want McCall in, what’s that based on? Rubbish recruitment, rubbish tactics, rubbish team selection. Absolutely stealing a wage because he’s a legend as a player.
