Possibly. But the inference from the alleged victim's father would indicate that she's still in a relationship with him, so who knows!

He'll never play football again, and rightly so.
Anybody even remotely suggesting it may have been taken 'out of context' or has been 'misinterpreted as a roleplay' must have some seriously, seriously questionable morals closely akin to these "incel" types who hate women. There's absolutely no rationale behind the clearly evident audio other than Mason is a misogynistic coward of a human (I won't say man, because he's far from a man). -

But I'm almost certain he'll play, and get silly money too. -

It does but there are some bits in the police statement that seem to hint at “discoveries”, the sorts of things that might make prosecution impossible. Who knows?
The thing is now, does it all get forgotten about and he gets to pick up the pieces? (I believe he is now legally innocent). -

He's still a POS but I'm interested to see what Man Utd do from here. Surely he can't join the squad again as that would be the worst PR for the club with sponsors etc plus trying to sell the club. The only option seems to be in a foreign country

Mendy and Greenwood won't play in the premier league again. Who knows if one trial outcome had a direct effect on the other not going to trial?
These after all are multimillionaire footballers with the best defence lawyers money can buy.
Some clubs have no morals and really don't care, it wouldn't surprise me to see these playing for clubs somewhere on the fringes of Europe or in the middle east. -

Presumably has he hasn’t been found guilty of anything United will have to pay his contract up

And the visual evidence are also problematic for drawing a conclusion because we don’t know the actual context from them. Especially as almost right away her dad said she didn’t post them and that she was hacked. For example most of us probably have pictures of bruises/injuries on our phones and an implied context could change how people take those photos.
It's why even if he is guilty and she did actually release the evidence rather than being hacked releasing the evidence this way is problematic. When you publicly release the evidence rather than going to the police and especially when don’t release it in the raw format it makes it a trail by public opinion and that public opinion happening without all the evidence being available to people, for there to be no verifiable context to the evidence and for no ability for a right of reply.
In many ways there is a need for the police/cps to really fully explain why it was dropped rather than vague witness withdrawing their statements and new evidence coming to light because everything else has been so public and if there has been something significant that has caused it seems fairer than have people keep basing an opinion on evidence that may not be accurateStop hovering to collapse... In this case, at either extreme its a case of a a scumbag having done some reprehensible things and gotten away with it, or he's the victim of something falsified/misrepresented and will have his life and career irreparably damaged. And its amazing how many people seem to have a better view of things than the CPS who've spent a year investigating the thing. The other curious bit is the way in which people have latched on the part of the CPS statement that refers to 'key witnesses withdrawing' (and assumed that's through either fear or bribery) but don't seem to have picked up reference to 'new material coming to light'.Stop hovering to collapse...
