It’s something, i guess, if it works in the way us fans hope it will and Edin either steps back or starts listening to voices of experiece with knowledge of our club.

How much it can improve our situation on the pitch is anyones guess though. Probably not much is my gut feeling.

The club within a club is a good point and credit to them for sorting it out and getting rid of those involved.
Did Julian & Mark know it was going on under their tenure, as many were long time employees you would believe it had been going on a while, obviously the way Edin micro managed anyone the people involved should have realised their time was up.

Because as you correctly point out, they caused the disaster. This despite having several opportunities to change their approach when it was clear it wasn't working. Sadly we are at the point of no return now, it should never have got to that.

My question was more to people around if we were doing well would they still want the owners out?

That is the saddest part of all of this. When it started to go pear shaped last autumn, we were still getting results but playing badly. I have no doubt in my mind that Stuart was trying to get him to change his approach, and he wouldn’t listen. He just blamed Stuart, and then made one of his worst decisions and sacked him.

Since then it has been one disaster after another. Now we are here, needing some kind of football miracle to stay up.

Good point. At the fans forum he had a chance to listen to the fans frustrations, take them on board and show some humility. @Bronco@Bronco asked the first question of the night and Rahic basically fobbed it off. As he did with most of the other questions raised in his direction. @Ricc@Ricc's question was batted to Abbott before he'd even said anything.

I'm still not sure what Rhodes can do in this situation. Its all too little too late. Rahic is admitting he cannot do the job, something we all knew months ago, a few of way back longer than that. He could have asked for this help a long time ago, both Rhodes and Mason commenting that their help and advice was available but as Roger Owen commented this was knocked back straight away, Mason admitted it was one of the reasons he left because his input was being ignored. Lets face it we've all at one stage worked with a gobshite running the show who knows better than anyone else. Its sad in a way but also quite amusing when you are proved correct as the whole shitshow falls apart at the seams. Unfortunately the damage has been done and i can't see any way back for him, he's alienated large parts of the fan base too much.

Where have people said it’s the end of all of our problems?

The Edin our brigade are hysterical. Trying to see any positive in it and you are shouted down.

I appreciate it’s the boy who cried wolf but some have asked for change and we may be getting it. Too late

If JR had been brought in to replace/ buy out Edin then I could see he may make a difference (over time)
What remains to be seen is if and its a big if any of his recommendations are implemented
Time will tell of course but myself and a few others quite rightly remain skeptical

A lot of bridges to build there, for me it's just to appease the fans base or what's left of them, I just can't see Rahic altering his ways.

The answer is no! Many City fans may not like Rahic and Rupp or the way they do things, but there are many owners of other clubs who are not popular, but their supporters do not especially want them out. It can be what is termed a ‘marriage of convenience’, no love but it works for both parties. Success brings tolerance.

And YOUR point too is significant @Bronco@Bronco .............
Perhaps it didn't exist under JR and ML ? ......... Hardly surprising, as micro Managing was not their style.
That is not to say mutterings were not in place - Every business has a 'grumpy' employee or two ! ;)

    WINNER

Very aptly and colourfully put Al ........... A credit to your literary skills. :)

The poor decisions born from both arrogance and ignorance made by Herr Rahic cannot, and must not be ignored. Any action now may well be too late - BUT ....... IF they stop these occurring again - Then 'some' progress has been made.

WOAH ............. Steady on @How@How ................ You are beginning to sound 'hysterical' in all that.
I personally see no hysteria - just a plea from many to give the fans their Club back.

We just want things as they were ............ Harmonious team work ON and OFF the pitch.
We can all take defeat - We've witnessed many ................. What we won't tolerate is a complete lack of spirit or fight.
Am I / we asking too much ?

They are not going to “give it back” though are they?

I agree with what you are saying but we need to see how it goes now. I think they have made it clear they won’t just leave.

Let’s see what happens from now until the Peterborough game. Chance to get some bodies in or coaching staff at least

And like you ........ I and others have doubts.

But again, as you suggest ................ Let's see what happens. Proof in the pudding, 'an all that ! :)

If we were doing well (lol), then that would be because the owners were getting things right and actually had the faintest idea how to run a football club, so obviously the fans would be on board. How can you not get that?

We were doing well this time last season and look how that ended, so not necessarily.

Very condescending post though. Well done
