Judging by Alexander's team selection yesterday I don't think he does either.

Yeah tick the ground off. Will be a vision of things to come when we are in the national league under the Rupp ship with Sparks as the captain.

Totally agree mate. My first game was in 1987.
The wife didn’t really like football when we met, but started coming to games in 2007 and has been attending ever since. Kids are 11, 14 and 17 and have been coming to games since they were toddlers.

We’re all just a bit fed up of it all to be honest. Personally speaking, I’d have barely missed a game in 30-odd years, and I don’t know if it’s just a sign of getting older or longer in the tooth, but I’ve got to the stage where City is much lower on my priority list in life than it ever has been. This of course is driven by the product we are served on the pitch.

We had a stable club before Rahic arrived on the scene, and whilst he has long since gone, his legacy unfortunately remains. The 2019 relegation was so unnecessary and so far no one has managed to turn the oil tanker that is Bradford City around. It’s just one big chore following City these days, and my family is clearly not alone.

The club is on its ar$e and changes are needed - a club strategy and stable foundations would be a start but it’s a long road ahead. The number of fans in the stands up for the long haul is dwindling fast.

It's sad to read posts like this as families like you are the bread and butter the club needs. No one is asking you not to renew you are naturally coming to that conclusion and you are not alone. I feel that his club is slowly dying on its feet and Rupp now has to do something as doing nothing is not an option.

Sparks says he's in constant dialogue with Rupp but I'm wondering after yesterday if Rupp thinks Sparks hasn't been telling the whole truth about the feeling of the supporters at Valley Parade?

Parker gave McDonald POTM but I would have given that to Sam Walker despite him letting in 5-maybe the last one he could have done better with.

I think we all know by now to take with a pinch of salt anything that comes out of Sparks mouth.

And yes I do think that Rupp may have been a tad taken aback by what happened yesterday. Someone earlier (sorry forgot who) said his wife was giving the w@nker gesture to some fans. Or it could have been to her husband. ;)

Anyway not a good thing to do the people keeping your husbands play thing going.

Why would Rupp be overly concerned? There were 16,496 paying fans at VP yesterday! That would be a good achievement according to Sparks and in line with previous 'official' attendances. What's the problem, Stefan?

The fact that at the kick-off, there were less than half that in the ground and before the final whistle, there were probably more Mansfield fans than City fans in VP is of little relevance according to Sparks! ;)

At the final whistle there was definitely more Mansfield fans in the ground than City fans. And there were still some City fans clapping like seals at the end. :confused:The rapidly dwindling "at least the lads put a shift in" brigade.

The marks by Simon Parker are very bizarre. Without some very good saves from Walker that would've been 8/9-1 but he only gets a 5 whereas Cook and McDonald get 6, apart from the goal the only thing Cook did was complain. There's no way Ridehalgh was worse than Tomkinson who lost the ball at least 3 times on the halfway line letting them in on the counter. Smith getting a 3 in very harsh when he no service at all.

If you do send them back, could you just make it 2, and I’ll buy one from you. (That said, yesterday was totally rank).

I reckon the gesture was aimed at Smallwood
