Maybe the club had decided to do a joint announcement with Hurst as manager, Now that his appointment is doubtful and T&S may not want him to work with it is all up in the air

 

If it isn’t a done deal he really shouldn’t be putting it out on social media that he works for City. If it is a done deal City need to announce it, either way it is amateurish

I would think so. Hopefully the ones he lines up we make decent offers to and not have a scenario again where we line up players we clearly can’t afford like we did under Abbott.

This is good news.

For me, it doesn't make a difference who the manager is or what they want or even if they want to work with Lee or not.

This is a club appointment and so it should be. The manager needs to give a list of his requirements to Lee, and let him do his job.

Looks like we're heading in the right direction, but only after being in a position where we couldn't go any further backwards. This appointment should have been made 12 months ago when McCall needed and was happy to have recruitment help. Instead we hang McCall out to dry somewhat on the recruitment front.
