Yes it said a new team had been in place for several weeks

 

There could be an issue between announcing Turnbull
before we have decided on T&S. Turnbull and Hurst are
or have been a team so they may need to wait until manager
is confirmed as Turnbull may be expecting Hurst to be given
the job and that could be why he has agreed to leave Chesterfield?

If we change our minds and don't appoint Hurst or he decides
to go with a definite offer from Grimsby, will Turnbull still want
to come ?

 

Maybe the club had decided to do a joint announcement with Hurst as manager, Now that his appointment is doubtful and T&S may not want him to work with it is all up in the air

 

I would think so. Hopefully the ones he lines up we make decent offers to and not have a scenario again where we line up players we clearly can’t afford like we did under Abbott.

Number of experienced and knowledgeable football staff in the correct position just went from zero to one.

Everything else is a massive gamble.
