    Unfortunately, that's how the January transfer window works. Get rid of those players who we don't want and replace them with players other clubs don't want!

    It's a sort of player Bury would sign and look where Bury are now.

    We still need another striker and a midfielder.

    City have completed the signing of striker Lee Novak from Scunthorpe United.

    The experienced frontman arrives on a deal which will keep him at the Utilita Energy Stadium until at least the end of next season.

    Novak carries a wealth of EFL experience, having enjoyed spells with Charlton Athletic, Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City.

    The Bantams newcomer is delighted to have arrived in West Yorkshire and is looking forward to getting going.

    He said: “I am buzzing to be here and am really pleased it has happened.

    “It was put together quite quickly and, as soon as I heard of the interest, I was keen to get everything done.

    “Bradford are obviously further up in the league than Scunthorpe and I want to progress and test myself at a higher level.

    “I have spoken to the likes of Rory McArdle and Clayton Donaldson, who had nothing but positive things to say.

    “I have heard a lot of great things about Bradford City and cannot wait to get out there and represent the club.”

    Novak’s move is subject to the relevant FA and EFL clearances.

    We can have Mo Salah and Harry Kane upfront but it means jack-all if we can't provide them with scoring opportunities.

    We've paid a fee for and given an 18 month deal to a journeyman striker who has 4 league two goals this season.

    Our recruitment is a joke.

    Always seems to score when playing against us! If it’s him and one other striker then not all bad! Few Scunthorpe fans unhappy to see him go!

    Doyle going to Swindon I understand.

    Novak who plays for a midtable team who their fans want out because he's a poor forward.

    The truth hurts but people need to face up to it.
    I know you know, you just need to admit it to yourself! Let it out.. see other sites have. No one is happy with how the club is being run at this moment.

    Good signing. Well done City.

    Of course he is a downgrade on Doyle and Vaughan but he's a unit who will be more suited to Bowyerball.

    Like for like with vaughan for me but Novak is more made for league 2 hoofball whereas vaughan is made for a passing football team. least hes played regularly in lower leagues so should be ready from the off to play long ball football haha

    Sorry clicked post too early. Have just edited. He's an experienced player who has played regularly at a higher level and gives us a direct option. Won't score double figures but will hurt teams and create for others.

    If we could get Agard too now that wouldn't be a bad end to the window at all.
