League 2

I do honestly think going down to league two would do us a world of good, most of the wage stealers will jump ship as they won't want to play league two football. I mean look at Bury and further back Portsmouth. Sometimes relegation is needed to get rid of all the shite.

That being said I would be gutted if we went back down to league two, I think with luck on our side we can scrape 20th as last game of season is Wimbledon at home.

 

I remember people saying this the last time we went down to league 2, it might take us another five years to bounce back. No thank you.

 

It took Portsmouth 5 years mate, 6 for us. No thanks.

 

We can complain as much as we want but In just being realistic. Trying to put a positive spin on what looks inevitable.

Either way we are spending a couple of years in the lower divisions, As much as I dislike it I cannot see city being play off quality in the next 2 seasons. Issues with money and our best players being loanees.
