We've acquired too much shite, like a farmers welly. 10 or 11 midfielders on the books and we cant get three of them performing for more than a 15 minute spell if were having a good day? Thats poor.

I get you. But incidentally, this took 4hrs to prepare. But 2 of them were due to me having to nip out for new laptops, given that I smashed up the others every time Oldham scored :)

I don't disagree. In that T&A vote, I plumped for a one midfielder and a striker.

Taylor's better as an impact player. If he's going to play 3 in the middle, then he has to play Akpan as at least he has some muscle and it's (slightly) harder for the team to maneuver around him. Problem is that Akpan seems incredibly weak lunged, as he's gone after 50 minutes (i.e. Crawley and Scunny home games)

Bad bad error, not to get a CDM

I'll be there. But not until he's gone. I can't watch anymore of us under his leadership. The only thing I can thank him for is he has made it easy for Rhodes to sack him on Monday. Its the worst football I've seen in 40 years and that's no exaggeration. As bad as Docherty, Hopkin, Taylor, you name them this is as bad. No more excuses, change is needed now.

No. I get you. Not certain, who we've got to shake a fist. Praying that this Rangers player, Devitt and a fully fit Prichard can galvanise us with some creativity, we get a lucky win and then maybe confidence will come back

He needs to do something radical, i.e. get perhaps Paudie to play that CDM. Try something. But I don't disagree, that nothing will change

I now admit that the Docherty comparisons aren't as ridiculous as they were a month ago

I take no pleasure from seeing Bowyer fail, in an ideal world he would succeed as he doesn't seem a bad bloke. But i like to think of my reading of the game was better than how i played it and the warning signs were there a long time ago. Basic stuff like no ball winner in midfield, too many like for like players etc. I'm not in the habit of calling for a sacking for the sake of it but i can't stand by and watch a team self capitulate because they aren't sure what they are supposed to be doing. That today was a carbon copy of the Mansfield game in that it could and should have been 6-0. These aren't defeats, they are systematic failure of the managers whole set up. You can't play as bad as we did last week then repeat it again the week later, its not fair on the players and it certainly ain't fair on the paying public.

To put it into context, we've been absolutely destroyed by a side whose fans were singing 'we're shit and we're sick of it' at Salford last week. This follows on from the Mansfield drubbing where they the worst form side in the division at the time. These aren't even good sides that are mullering us, they're bottom six sides.

Its clear the players have no confidence in him, maybe its just the wrong man at the wrong time. But while we still have a chance of the play offs, its only fair to give another manager a slim chance to resurrect the season. And that means Bowyer has to go on Monday.

Could well be that a lifeless Oldham away defeat, ends another Manager's career

Respect for having the openness to reevaluate the situation as we find ourselves in.
